New Delhi: Indian cricket Team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir, star batter Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant arrived at the team hotel in Kanpur. As we all know the 2nd test match against Bangladesh will take place at Green Park on 27th September, Friday. On Tuesday, Pant, Kohli, and Gambhir were spotted outside the team hotel. Gambhir’s stint as the head coach in the Test format began on a triumphant note. In his first Test match as India’s head coach, the hosts cruised to a momentous 280-run victory at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Rishabh Pant returned to the international Tests in the Bangladesh series post his recovery from a serious car accident and immediately stamped his class. His brisk scores in India’s first match of the series, including a century in the second innings, have brought him back to ICC Test rankings and he is in sixth position.

He made a promising start on his return in the first innings with 39 off 52 deliveries. He lost his wicket to in-form Hasan Mahmud.

Ravichandran Ashwin completed his 37th five-wicket haul and equalled Australian legend Shane Warne for the record. It was also the fourth time the veteran all-rounder took five wickets or more in a Test match alongside a hundred.

The Indian cricket team scripted history in Chennai on a Sunday morning as they registered more wins than losses in Test cricket for the first time since 1932 following an emphatic 280-run victory over Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. With this victory, India now has 179 wins out of 580 Test matches. India lost 178 times while drew 222 matches and one game ended in a tie.
