IPL 2024, CSK vs RCB: Friday was no different, as at the MA Chidambaram stadium Kohli was grooving to Thalapathy Vijay’s popular ‘Appadi Podu’ track.
Chennai: Virat Kohli is not just a world-class batter, but he is also an entertainer. Hailing from Delhi, Kohli has not once, twice, but on multiple occasions showed the fun-loving side and the child in him. Friday was no different, as at the MA Chidambaram stadium Kohli was grooving to Thalapathy Vijay’s popular ‘Appadi Podu’ track.
This happened during the innings break when Kohli and the rest had got inside the field and were warming-up. The music was playing in the backdrop and that turned Kohli on. But the interesting bit here is that he gave his own Punjabi twist to the dance by adding some bhangra to it.
Here is the clip that is now going viral:

This is not the first time Kohli has been spotted dancing. He has on many occasions admitted that he and Shikhar Dhawan loved dancing and were among the only ones in the national team at one point of time who used to hear Punjabi music and groove to it.
With the bat, Kohli scored 21 off 20 balls and perished after Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra pulled off a dream relay catch near the ropes.
At the time of filing the copy, chasing 174 to win, Chennai are 87 for two in nine overs.
