Vivere names Shrimps’ Corrigan-Conway as its new MD

Vivere — the Savannah Miller and Damian Hopkins-founded UK womenswear brand — has named Laura Corrigan-Conway as its new Managing Director, starting this month.

It’s an important next step for the still-young label and she’s been tasked with driving brand growth, to include international wholesale expansion and further enhancing its D2C development. She’ll be based at the label’s London HQ.

Corrigan-Conway joins from Shrimps LDN Limited, where she was was also MD, and has more than 15 years’ experience in senior roles at a raft of well-known premium names such as Reiss, Karen Millen and Ted Baker.

The exec had been at the helm of Shrimps for two years, during which time she “oversaw operational aspects of the business including product, e-commerce, wholesale, and marketing”. And she worked with the label’s founder Hannah Weiland on “strategy and direction, with a focus on building their collaboration programme and launching new categories”.

Vivere CEO Hopkins hailed her “wealth of knowledge and passion for the premium womenswear market” and said that “with her expertise she will help us grow the brand in the next stage of the exciting development and distribution for Vivere both domestically and internationally.”

The Vivere label was only launched last summer by Central Saint Martins-trained and former Twenty8Twelve designer Miller with retail and brand specialist Hopkins.

Its aim is to create “affordable, high-quality, modern wardrobe staples” with a focus on “elevated fabrications, directional silhouettes and a refined tonal colour palette”.

It’s currently available via the brand’s own webstore, as well as at John Lewis flagships and the retailer’s website.
