Vivo Y17s is here. Vivo has expanded its Y-series of smartphones in India with the launch of Vivo Y17s in India. The budget smartphone sports an HD+ display and houses a 50MP primary camera. The smartphone runs Android 13 and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
Price and availability
The Vivo Y17s comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB priced at Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,499 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Glitter Purple and Forest Green colour options. The smartphone is available for purchase online on Flipkart, Amazon and offline at authorised retail stores in the country.
Vivo Y17s specifications
Vivo Y17s comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ water drop display with 720×1612 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouch OS 13.
Vivo Y17s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card.
Vivo Y17s comes with an IP54 rating which makes it dust and splash-resistant. The affordable Vivo smartphone sports a dual rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie camera.
The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
Vivo V29 series to launch in India on October 24
Meanwhile, Vivo is all set to launch its all-new V29 series of smartphones in India on October 4. The Vivo V29 series consists of two smartphones — Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro. The official Vivo India website page for the Vivo V29 series reveals key features of the two smartphones. These include a triple rear camera setup, Aura light, and an LED flash on the back panel. The rear panel of these upcoming smartphones will also showcase India’s pioneering 3D particle technology finishing.
