Just a few weeks after the launch of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 1, and Activision is back with the big mid-season update.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 Reloaded has a December 5 release date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
The new season will be available alongside a big new update at 5am pm GMT UK time. No downtime is required, although you will need to download and install the new patch before you can start playing.
While most of the new content is coming to Black Ops 6, Warzone fans will be pleased to hear that Battle Royal Ranked Play will join the game as part of the Reloaded update.
It’s worth noting, however, that there are some entry requirements for participating in Ranked Play.
For starters, you’ll need to place in the Top 15 of Battle Royale or the Top 6 in Resurgence a total of 30 times.
According to Activision, squads can party together without restrictions, with matchmaking based on the highest ranked player in the squad.
Rewards include Rank-based skins such as Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Crimson. That’s on top of Loading Screens, Emblems, Camos, Sprays and a Knife Blueprint for 300 Top Finishes.
Elsewhere, fans can take part in a variety of Limited-time game modes with a festive theme. There’s Holiday Rush which is playable in Area 99.
Activision explains more: “Enter Area 99, newly outfitted with Deck the Halls trees and Snowball coolers. Get right to the point with access to high-tier loot along with a smaller gas circle and faster transitions between collapses.”
As the description suggests, you’ll be able to engage in snowball fights as part of the Christmas LTM.
Then there’s the Slay Ride Resurgence LTM, which is playable in Urzikstan. This LTM sees players battle for control of Undead Santa’s Slay Ride.
Finally, Warzone players will be able to utilise the Reflex Perk, which allows users to shrug off enemy traps.
