WhatsApp: Instant messaging and voice-over-IP service platform WhatsApp is likely to launch a new feature to reorganize user interaction. It was found during beta testing that this new feature promises to spotlight recent online contacts, enabling users to effortlessly initiate conversations with those they have recently engaged with, reports Mint.
It further said that this new feature was reportedly observed in beta trials by WABetainfo and could take WhatsApp much ahead in its efforts to improve user experience and strengthen security measures.
It is presumed that this new feature will enable users to easily connect with their loved ones, friends, and colleagues who will be active at that time or have been online recently.
Meta-owned WhatsApp is also said to be developing an update to extend chat-locking capabilities to all linked devices (not just the primary one) to augment the privacy of the users by ensuring that locked chats remain protected across various platforms.
