Malin recently told how she is currently ‘reinventing’ herself as she continues to live in her ‘best era of her life’.
The actress gushed that she ‘feels most herself’ now she is in her 40s and is hoping to ‘not get stuck’ in a certain era.
Malin, who moved to California from Stockholm in 2001, gushed that living in Los Angeles has been like being on a ‘vacation’ every day.
The star told Vogue Scandinavia: ‘I’m in a moment right now of reinventing myself, my 40s have been the best era of my life so far. I feel the most myself, the most authentic to who I am.
‘I look at some people older than myself, some in their 60s or so, and I think they get stuck in a certain era. I don’t want to get stuck. I want to dress in a way that has an edge, but is still elegant.’
She went on to gush how much she ‘loves’ LA and how she makes time to spend ‘quality time’ with her family.
Malin added: ‘The hiking, the canyons. It feels like living in a vacation. When I’m in the midst of a project, it’s 24/7. Long days, coming home to learn your lines for the next day, trying to spend some quality time with family over the weekend.’
