Rajasthan Royals have won all three games so far in IPL while RCB have managed to win just one out of four games.
New Delhi: Jaipur might witness slight rainfall on Saturday during Rajasthan Royals’ home encounter against Royal Challengers Bengaluru after strong winds and lightning were caught on camera on the eve of the high-octane clash in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. A picture shared by RCB on their social media handles, claiming it to be shot by head coach Andy Flower, ground dust blown away by strong wind was seen along with a lightning strike.
However, according to Accuweather, there is zero chance of rain on the match day in Jaipur but the temperature is likely to be around 30 degrees Celsius. The humidity will be around 20 per cent in the evening. The skies are also likely to be clear, providing an ideal condition for the ‘Royal’ encounter.
Wow! 🤯
Coach Andy still has that immaculate timing in him, captures lightning like a pro just as we were wrapping up at practice! 🙌⚡

As far as IPL 2024 is concerned, Rajasthan Royals are placed second in the points table with three wins in as many games. Kolkata Knight Riders, with same number of wins as RR and a better net run-rate top the table. On the other hand, RCB are languishing at eighth with just a win from four games.
The RCB top-order comprising skipper Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar is a storehouse of talent and explosiveness. But none of them have fired either in isolation or in unison, except star batter Virat Kohli, the current Orange Cap holder with 203 runs, who has made two fifties.
The Bengaluru outfit will hope for a reversal at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, a venue that carries similar traits as RCB’s home – Chinnaswamy Stadium – in terms of a smooth pitch and a blistering outfield adding value to the batters’ shots.
The Rajasthan Royals’ batting has largely revolved around captain Sanju Samson (109 runs, one fifty) and the highly-improved Riyan Parag (181 runs, 2 fifties) and at some point, the duo will require solid support from others. Pacers Trent Boult and Nandre Burger and veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal have worked up a nice early rhythm and have shared 16 wickets between them.
