A woman has been hospitalised with serious burns following an explosion at a brewery on the NSW Central Coast.
The staff member was working in the kitchen at Six String Brewing Company in Erina when a gas explosion took place on Monday morning, the business said.
Emergency services were called to the brewery about 11.30am to treat the woman for “severe burns”.

A CareFlight helicopter with specialist paramedics flew the woman to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished a blaze at the brewery, and officers are on site to investigate the cause of the blast.
The blast is not being treated as suspicious.
Six String Brewing Company has closed its taproom for the day.
“A gas explosion caused severe burns to a member of our kitchen staff,” it said.
“Thanks to the quick response of our team on-site, emergency services were immediately contacted, and CareFlight was able to transport her swiftly to receive urgent medical care.
“We are unclear on the severity of the burn but our thoughts are with her.”
