A woman was critically injured when she was allegedly hit by a truck while walking in Sydney’s inner west on Monday.
Police and paramedics were called to City West Link Road, Lilyfield, just before 11am after receiving reports a pedestrian had been hit by a truck.
A 66-year-old woman was found at the scene with serious injuries.

She was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
The truck driver was not injured, but was also taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
His truck was also seized by police and a crime scene established.
He has since been charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – driving in a dangerous manner, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop at a stop line at a red light (not toll booth).
He was granted conditional bail, and is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on September 26.
His licence has also been suspended.
