A pregnant woman is furious after she received a “rude” response from a friend when she announced her pregnancy via text.

Her family friend replied “Wow. Congrats!”
However, the mum-to-be’s excitement quickly took an awkward turn.
“You looked fatter in your wedding photos. Now I know why,” he added, along with a laughing crying emoji.
Stunned by his observation, the woman bluntly replied to him: “I wasn’t pregnant on my wedding day…”
She said her brother was furious when she showed him their text exchange.
“My brother lost his mind,” she said.
“He messaged the family friend and absolutely ripped him a new a******.
“Also, not that it should matter what my weight is, but I’m not overweight at all,” she added.
People in the comments were horrified and were quick to side with the woman.
“That is not a friend, keep some distance,” one suggested.
“That’s so mean, oh my god,” said another.
“Love your response and so glad your brother has your back! Congratulations on your pregnancy,” said a third.
Many described the friend’s text as “rude” while others encouraged her to “block him”.
“Who just says things like that? What, did they think you waited until now to share ultrasound photos? That’s not a friend. I’m glad your brother has your back, because wow that was incredibly rude,” one said.
Another added: “I can’t imagine saying that to someone!”
