Bangladesh Denim Expo is one of the most significant international trade shows and serves as a source and inspiration for European buyers. Being hosted by Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), it takes place twice a year in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Denim Expo started its journey with their first event in November 2014 which was hosted at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since then, Bangladesh Denim Expo successfully completed 15 editions with more than 355 exhibitors from 37 countries and 65,000 visitors from 60 countries. In addition, over 120 renowned speakers participated.

Over the past decade, Bangladesh’s apparel industry has made impressive progress and moved Bangladesh to be the second largest apparel exporter in the world. Bangladesh Denim Expo also plays a vital role by taking initiatives towards innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation to lead the future of the Bangladesh apparel industry.

In every edition, Bangladesh Denim Expo arrives with a new inspirational theme. Exhibitors display fabrics, garments, threads, machinery, finishing equipment and accessories. This enables visitors to get a deeper look into the upcoming trends in denim fabric, styling and finishing.

Bangladesh Denim Expo’s upcoming 16th Edition will be held on May 6-7, 2024 in Hall-4 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. During the two-day event a series of relevant panel discussions, trend seminars and exhibitions are scheduled.

Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo Mostafiz Uddin said: “Someone has to take the lead to build a sustainable fashion industry. So, let’s shake hands and move forward together.”
