Australian fitness influencer Ashy Bines faces regular health checks due to an aneurysm on her brain found after she lost her vision.
The 35-year-old mum-of-two went to Gold Coast University Hospital on Sunday, having momentarily lost her vision three times last week.

A scan of her brain at the hospital revealed a “small aneurysm”, Bines said.
“They said it’s unlikely my aneurysm will rupture or bleed at its current size,” she said on Instagram, a platform where she has more than one million followers.
“But I’ll be back in three months to keep an eye on it.
“It’s something I will need to get checked regularly for the rest of my life.”
She said losing her sight was a “gift” because she otherwise “wouldn’t have ever got a scan and this wouldn’t have been found”.
She has vowed to “slow my life, work load and stress right down”.
“I’m so grateful for my body and the signs it gave me and the push to go and get checked,” she said.
“If I continued to ignore them, things could have been a lot worse down the track.”
A rupture of an aneurysm, which is a “bulge on the wall of an artery”, can pose a “serious risk of death” when bleeding on the brain causes a type of stroke called a subarachnoid haemorrhage, according to the Brain Foundation.
However, the organisation says only 0.25 per cent of aneurysms rupture. About three to five per cent of the Australian population will develop a brain aneurysm at some point in their lives.
Bines, a personal trainer turned fitness entrepreneur and social media star, said she has lost a grandmother and uncle to aneurysms.
“I really am OK — just in this limbo of waiting for what’s next atm (at the moment) which is normally the scariest part,” she said.
