We promised we’d pass along more info about the horror parody Caddy Hack when we got it, and something just came in. Wild Eye Releasing has announced a date for the home release of the film. Digital will get it first October 10, followed by the Blu-Ray release on October 24.
Caddy Hack is the name of a demented new riff where the gophers aren’t just a pain in the neck, they’re downright murderous. The movie, of course, takes place at a stuck-up country club where the owners and most of the paying attendees are rich jerks. Worse yet, caddies have been disappearing left and right, and rather that rooting out the cause, the owner is trying to cover it up. But you can only keep an army of fanged gophers with glowing red eyes underground for so long. It’s up to an unhinged groundskeeper (where’s Bill Murray when you need him) to take on the rodent menace.
The video release of Caddy Hack will come stuffed with all-right extras:
- Director and producer Commentary
- Outtakes and Behind the Scenes Footage
- Old Glory Holes Commercial
- Caddy Hack Rap
- Balls Deep Karaoke
- Brew Break Drinking Game
- BLU RAY exclusive – Illustrated Slipcase art
- BLU RAY exclusive – Folded poster

The movie was thought up, written and directed by Anthony Catanese, with Sara Casey, Scott Miller, Jim Gordon, Joseph Kuzemka, Rob Hauschild and Cantonese himself serving as producers. Watch for it on digital and Blu this Halloween.
