Former Home and Away star Luke Jacobz has shared new details about his long-awaited wedding to American partner Raychel Stuart.
The Sydney wedding took place in June and just days later the couple announced they were expecting their first child.
Sunday marked three months since the wedding took place, with Jacobz reflecting on the special day.

“Already three months! So many things had to work out perfectly for us to finally get married.. but the one thing I knew that I didn’t have to worry about, was my suit,” he said in a new Instagram post.
“@donnygalella has always known the perfect designer for a specific occasion and once again- pointed me in the right direction.
“@alexgoodmancustom knew straight off the bat, that I had always dreamed of a classic “Bond” tux for my big day- and man did he deliver.”
Jacobz wrote that the “stunning suit” was “perfection”.
“Custom from the suit material and lapel to the shirt and cuff links.
“Alex, what can I say – this was the sharpest suit I’ve ever worn and for my special day – your advice, experience and skill made it possible to wear – My dream suit.”
Stylist Donny Galella and fans took to the comments all sharing one remark – that in such a sharp suit, Jacobz could play James Bond.
“Happy three months!!! Loved helping you and @alexgoodmancustom is the best! You looked 🔥🔥you could definitely play Bond 😜 I’m excited for you both with the arrival of little one. Congratulations again❤️,” Galella told his client.
“You looked amazing! Bond… James Bond,” a fan wrote.
“You are Jacobz, Luke Jacobz! 😍” another joked.
The wedding came after two cancelled dates due to the COVID pandemic, with the actor previously admitting he was not sure the day would come.
“So our day finally happened. 499 days apart, third attempt and we are finally MARRIED,” he began in a post in July.
“I am so proud to be married to my best friend. We have been through so much and now we can enjoy the rest of ours lives as Husband and Wife!”
He went on to call the day “magical” as he shared photos from the celebration.
The duo had first announced their engagement in 2018.
Jacobz and Stuart wed in Sydney’s Centennial Park, with Stuart walking down the aisle next to Jacobz’s stepfather John, they told New Idea.
“John was just absolutely blown away to be asked to do it,” Luke said.
“It was a really special moment.”
Both the bride and groom had lost their fathers and Stuart’s brothers were not able to attend the wedding, remaining in the US.
“I was a mess,” Jacobz said of the wedding, “When I saw Raychel I just lost it because we’ve been waiting so long for it to happen.”
“I ended up using all the tissues, and not Raychel which was part of the plan.”
The couple celebrated after the ceremony at their favourite Indian restaurant, Lavendra in North Sydney.
Jacobz and Stuart met in 2017 and were forced to spend 16 months apart due to international travel restrictions during the pandemic.
Stuart eventually completed 14 days in Sydney quarantine to see her partner in person.
Jacobz announced the news that the couple were expecting their first childon both Instagram and The Morning Show, sharing that “2023 has been quite the year”.
“Wedding in June and a baby in November!” he wrote on Instagram on July 11.
“We already have so much love in our home and can’t wait to welcome our bundle of joy.
“I’m so in awe of my incredible wife. She’s doing such a great job.”
He ended the post with the hashtags, “#itsallhappening #grateful #novemeberbaby #itslikeareward #finally.”
Jacobz played Angelo Rosetta on Home and Away from 2008 to 2011, and reprised his role in 2020.
