Hollywood star Matthew Perry, known for the popular ‘Friends‘ series, passed away at the age of 54. The actor was reportedly found dead at his Los Angeles apartment on Saturday.
The news has upset fans across the globe, with condolences pouring in from not only Hollywood but also Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, and others expressed their grief over the untimely demise of the beloved actor.
Bollywood star Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of Matthew Perry followed by the evil eye, folded hands, and dove emojis. Actress Athiya Shetty took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of the actor alongside a broken heart emoji.
Bipasha Basu also paid respect to the late actor by sharing a still from Friends, and captioned with “rip #matthewperry,” and accompanied by a broken heart sticker.
Accoding to TMZ, Perry was found in a jacuzzi at the home, and no drugs were found at the scene. A source from the Los Angeles Police Department informed PEOPLE that they were called to Perry’s residence in response to the passing of a man in his fifties.
