Gold Price: For the first time, gold prices touched and breached new highs on Monday as gold hit Rs 71,080 per 10 grams. It happened after gold rose by Rs 440 amid a firm buying in precious metals. Gold traded firmly in green at Rs 71,030 at around 10 am.

Meanwhile, silver reached a new high of Rs 82,064 per kilogram on Monday.
