I’m giving Suicide Squad one last chance – Season 1 release TIME, patch notes, Battle Pass | Gaming | Entertainment

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history. From the studio responsible for the incredible Arkham trilogy, Suicide Squad is far from the worst game I’ve ever played, but it is a huge letdown. Despite its colourful exterior and intriguing concept, Suicide Squad is a mediocre game with repetitive action and a forgettable campaign. In fact, it’s just plain boring, which is criminal given what we all know Rocksteady is capable of. Despite its many flaws, however, I’m still ready to give Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League one more chance, as we countdown to the start of Season 1 and the release of iconic DC villain The Joker.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Season 1 has a March 28 release date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

While there’s no official release time at the time of writing, it’s fair to assume that Season 1 will make its debut at around 3-4pm GMT UK time.

Daily Express will update this article with the official release time once it’s announced, so keep checking back for more details.

While I’m skeptical that it will make much of a difference to the overall quality of the game, I’m such a big fan of The Joker that I’m looking forward to trying him out when he makes his debut as a playable character as part of Season 1.

The free content update adds a young Joker as a playable character, complete with a new traversal set. The Joker will use his umbrella to zip across the map, all the while raining explosives on the enemies below.

His talent tree consists of three different playstyles, including Jester, Firestarter and Ringmaster.

Warner explains more: “Jester will see The Joker doing some crowd work, getting up close and personal and introducing Brainiac’s forces to his flail with devastating Melee buffs.

“Firestarter introduces the theme of Affliction specialisations to our new characters, with The Joker having a special affinity for fire!

“Ringmaster is The Joker’s way of making a dramatic entrance with his frantic Traversal! With ways to extend his air-time and increase his damage while airborne, this is the playstyle for a high-flying, fast-paced mobile Joker!”

In addition to The Joker, Season 1 will introduce the Elseworlds Mayhem Map, the Green Lantern Brainiac fight, new Incursions and Strongholds, plus Infamy Sets and Notorious Gear.

There’s also a paid Battle Pass featuring premium costumes, as well as a free track with additional bonuses. New Battle Pass items include the WayneTech costumes for the Suicide Squad.

New missions, map changes, enemies and bosses will be added as part of a mid-season update later this year.

Needless to say, Season 1 also launches alongside a massive new update, which you can see by checking out the patch notes below.

Suicide Squad Season 1 update patch notes (highlights)…

Fixes:

• Mastery progression issues: A back-end fix was published earlier this week to address the bug that prevented players from progressing through Mastery Levels in End Game.

• Achievement issues: Fixes for several issues that prevented players from completing all the Achievements in the game, particularly those regarding Riddler Trophies.

• Login issues, multiplayer issues and load time issues: Back-end fixes along with more in the patch itself to address these issues. We believe issues will be solved for a significant number of players, with further fixes planned for any players still affected.

Changes:

• Brainiac will take extra damage from Counters in Finite Crisis. We noticed that defeating Brainiac was taking a little longer than expected, especially at higher Mastery Levels. We hope that this change will make the fight snappier and more intense and make Countering Brainiac more satisfying.

• More HUD customisation. The patch will include the ability to toggle on/off Health/Shield Bars, XP Bar, Mission Objective and more.

• Update to Sniper enemies’ teleport behaviour. Snipers will take damage when teleporting, teleport less frequently and players will be able to move closer without them teleporting. Go show ’em who’s boss.

• Lowered Mastery Level required for End Game introduction. Each of the objectives during the End Game introduction sequence will require a lower Mastery Level to complete, allowing players to experience our End Game faster.
