According to the BSE website, bseindia.com, trading across cash, derivatives, and SLB, or securities lending and borrowing segments, will be unavailable today, May 1.
Is MCX closed on Maharashtra Day?
Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain shut for the morning session on account of Maharashtra Day today whereas the trading will resume in the evening session. MCX conducts trading from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and then from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm session.
May 1, 2024, will be a settlement holiday, the commodity account balance on Wednesday will not incorporate the profits (both realized and marked to market) from trades or positions in commodity derivatives made on April 28, 2024, neither it will include the credits from existing option positions as of April 28, 2024.
