Kmart Australia shoppers go wild over $22 ‘dupe’ of Chanel $1,820 heels: ‘Unbelievable’

Shoppers reluctant to fork out thousands on a pair of designer heels have found what they claim to be the “perfect dupe” from Kmart for just $22.

An Australian fashion blogger, otherwise known as “Kmart Insider”, discovered what she believed to be an affordable alternative to Chanel’s $1,820 beige and black “slingback” heels.

The budget-friendly “Dress Slingback Block” heels have been flying off the shelves across Australia — with shoppers claiming they are “comfy and fit perfectly”.

“The Kmart heels are definitely giving Chanel vibes,” the blogger said on Instagram.

Both brands appear similar at first glance — but there are key features that the cheaper style doesn’t have.

The high-end version is made from real leather and features the brand’s famous Chanel logo — while Kmart’s almond toe design is synthetic.

Thrifty shoppers suggested the “unbelievable” find was a “great dupe” — especially for those who can’t afford the expensive pair of heels.

The heels have received a four-star rating online, with one woman saying she was “pleasantly surprised” by these shoes.

“These shoes are good for the price. Remember they are not leather, but they fitted well so have worn them shopping all day, was pleasantly surprised not to have sore feet at the end of the day,” she said.

Another agreed, saying: “Really happy. Good shoes, good price, fitted perfectly”.

One added: “They are very comfy and fit perfectly”.

Another raved: “The best so good”.

However, not everyone rated the heels, with one claiming: “Very stiff and not comfortable… I returned straight away”.

Earlier this month, customers discovered a $40 jacket from Kmart that fans claim to be similar to designer versions costing upwards of $4,000.

The budget retailer is now selling a cropped trench coat that looks almost identical to the Burberry and Loewe styles.

The Cropped Gabardine Trench Jacket from Burberry will set shoppers back $3,350 — while Loewe’s cropped Balloon Jacket retails for $3,990.
