Michael Kors Collection store opens on Rodeo Drive

Michael Kors opened on Thursday a Michael Kors Collection store in Beverly Hills, marking the North American debut of a new store concept for the designer’s Collection boutiques.

Located at 242 N. Rodeo Drive within the Two Rodeo Drive outdoor shopping plaza, the store introduces a spare yet luxurious residential feel. 

Spanning 1,500 square feet across two levels, the space incorporates a mix of materials and textures, from blackened steel and raw concrete to antique brass, gold Calacatta marble, and oxidized maple.

The street-level showcases a minimalistic storefront with a wide glass window, inviting abundant natural light to illuminate the interior. Here, customers are welcomed into the world of Michael Kors Collection, greeted by a larger-than-life video wall and product displays characterized by walnut shelves and a black marble nesting table.

On the lower level, visitors are immersed in a realm of chic, geometric elegance. Ceiling-hung apparel bars line the perimeter, while dramatic marble tables stretch across the length of the store, providing a backdrop for Michael Kors Collection handbags and accessories. Against a palette of grey, white, black, and brass, curated mannequin groupings showcase the diverse spectrum of products available in store. 

“Beverly Hills is one of the few places in the world where you can get the speed of big-city life blended with a resort-like glamour,” said Michael Kors.

I am very excited to bring Michael Kors Collection back to one of the most legendary locations on the planet. Rodeo Drive is a very special place for me personally, as my family moved to Beverly Hills back in the Seventies and the street has always been an epicenter of luxury and glamour.”
