A student in the Department of History of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Rajkummar Rao is a Hindi film actor who needs no introduction. He has been a National Film Award winner for his exceptional role in the film ‘Shahid’; Rajkummar Rao won the Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Role for his film ‘Bareilly ki Barfi’ and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his film ‘Trapped’. According to the offficial website of the college, Rajkummar Rao was an integral part of the college’s dramatic society (Rangayan) and also participated in the plays-“Ek tha Gadha” in 2003 and “Muabje” in 2004 under the direction of Sri Satish Anand. It was performed at LTG Auditorium.

He stepped in Bollywood as vocalist with film ‘Dil Kabaddi’ in 2006. It was followed by his first project with A R Rahman another music maestro the title track of movie ‘Blue’. Rahman introduced him to world audience with ‘Nimma Nimma’. It was featured in the ‘Isles of Wonder’ sequence directed by Danny Boyle at 2012 summer Olympics.
