The mother-of-two was from Bellevue Hill, and she most recently worked as an architect for Georgina Wilson Associates in Double Bay, according to her LinkedIn.

Young was a member of the Bronte Surf Club, which cancelled its Sunday Sips event earlier on Sunday.

“This is and will be a difficult time for the community, and we encourage you to seek support from family, friends, fellow club members or to speak to your GP to assist you in processing this tragedy,” the club said.

“We are here to support the community, and our heartfelt condolences go out to everyone affected.”

More victims named

The daughter of millionaire businessman John Singleton, 25-year-old Dawn Singleton, and new mother Ashlee Good, 38, were among the six people killed.

Singleton worked as an e-commerce assistant for fashion brand White Fox Boutique, who paid tribute to her as a “sweet, kind-hearted person” who was “someone special”.

“We are all truly devastated by this loss,” the company said in a statement.

“Dawn was a sweet, kind-hearted person who had her whole life ahead of her.

“She was really amazing.”

Four other people were killed in the rampage, including three women believed to be aged between 20 and 55, and a man in his 30s.

Police Commissioner Karen Webb said the male victim was believed to be a security guard at the shopping centre.

Good died from her injuries in hospital following desperate attempts to save her nine-month-old daughter’s life.

Her baby girl was stabbed in the attack and remains at Sydney Children’s Hospital in ICU and is in a critical but stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery.

Good’s distraught family said the little girl was “doing well”.

“We appreciate the well wishes and thoughts of members of the Australian public who have expressed an outpouring of love for Ashlee and our baby girl,” they said.

“We are struggling to come to terms with what has occurred.

“We would appreciate peace and privacy while we work through this as a family.”

A friend remembered Good as an “amazing soul and light captured the hearts of so many of us”.

“She was so heroic in her final moments, so brave as a mother,” they wrote in a GoFundMe.

Eleven others, including nine women and two men, suffering stab wounds were treated by paramedics and taken to various Sydney hospitals, police said.

Several other people attended hospital with injuries overnight.

As of Sunday afternoon, two patients remain at St Vincent’s Hospital, two people are at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, another two are at Prince of Wales Hospital and one each at St George Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.

Four of these patients are in the ICU in varying conditions, while the others are stable.
