New Fendi campaign is fronted by Kate Moss, Pepe Jeans launches ‘wanderlust’ visuals

Two very different campaigns, two very different themes but both with London links. That’s the latest from Fendi and Pepe jeans.

Kate and Lila Moss for Fendi

For Fendi, its latest campaign for the Peekaboo bag — which was originally unveiled in 2008 for SS09 — is fronted by Londoner Kate Moss and daughter Lila Grace with the company saying their “powerful mother-daughter bond is intimately portrayed by the lenses of photographer Craig McDean”.

They’re “close friends” of Fendi creative chief Kim Jones “and of the Maison” and we’re told that the “campaign is a further demonstration of their heart-warming relationship, following their first mother-daughter runway appearance for the Artistic Director’s debut Couture collection for Fendi”.

Meanwhile, Pepe Jeans has launched its spring campaign with the brand always firmly linked to its London roots, even though the campaign is “inspired by the feeling of Wanderlust”.

The 51-year-old London-born brand’s new concept is called Take Me Somewhere and is said to be “an exciting adventure that will quench your Wanderlust in style”.

The collection itself features denim with pieces in warm-weather patterns such as florals and stripes, in “soothing” shades of beige, blue, pink, and green.

The campaign complements this with its vacation backdrops. It will be activated at selected Pepe Jeans stores “to create exciting opportunities for engagement”.

Customers will be able to send Take Me Somewhere postcards, try out the dedicated Custom Studio collection, and “enjoy additional surprises that await in-store”.
