New CCTV footage of the hours leading up to a woman being found dead in her Sydney home has been released by police.
Tatiana Dokhotaru, 34, was found dead inside her Liverpool apartment on Saturday May 27 at 8pm, more than 20 hours after she made a call for help on Friday night about 11.45pm.
Her estranged partner Danny Zayat was at her apartment when her body was found and was taken into custody where he was charged with a number of domestic violence offences, including allegedly destroying or damaging property.

No charges have been laid over Dokhotaru’s death.
However, police have now released CCTV from the night before, which can be viewed above, the young mother was found in the hope someone may come forward with more information.
“Investigators have issued CCTV footage of a phone being thrown out of a window which matches the location of Ms Dokhotaru’s unit shortly before midnight on Friday 26 May 2023,” NSW Police said.
The phone has never been recovered, however, police are urging anyone who may have found a phone near Norfolk and Bathurst Streets at the time to come forward.
Detectives also flew to Canada last week as part of their investigation to meet with Tatiana’s family
“Investigators are working closely with the Dokhotaru family to gather further information about her life and associates in Australia,” NSW Police added.
When the incident took place in May, it took police three hours to respond to Dokhotaru’s call for help, and they left after they were unable to access the building but came back the next day after a neighbour called police.
The incident was not labelled a top priority in the police system, contributing to the delay.
A GoFundMe was earlier set up to help Dokhotaru’s family including her father Denis Thievin.
“We just never in a million years thought it would unfold like this,” Thievin told 7NEWS.
“It’s not supposed to be that way.
“You don’t expect it to happen to your family.”
Family and friends also hope to leave some money to Dokhotaru’s young son.
“Tatiana left us too soon,” a friend wrote in the campaign’s description.
“Her little boy is forever without a mother.
“Help us to ease the burden on this unfortunate family.”
