Sensex Declines By Around 800 PTS, Nifty Below 22300; TCS Stock Rises

Impact of Iran’s attack on Israel can be seen on Stock Market as its opened after 2 days holiday. The 30-share S&P BSE Sensex index saw a major fall and opened at 73,281.65, i.e. declined by 929.74 points. The Nifty50 index opened in the red at 22,339.05, down by 180.35 points or 0.80 per cent.

Nifty Midcap100 index around 9:30 AM also declined by 1.84 per cent and the Nifty Smallcap100 index went down by 2.50 per cent.

Markets At Pre-Open

At pre-opening, Sensex traded in the red at 73,281.65 declined by 929.74 points or 1.25 per cent, at the same time, the Nifty50 index also traded in the red territory at 22,339.05, went down by 180.35 points or 0.80 per cent.

Top Losers in Sensex

In morning session, Tata Motors (-2.62%), Tata Steel (-2.48%), Power Grid (-1.87%), JSW Steel (-1.64%), NTPC (-1.96%), SBIN (-1.91%),were the top losers.

Top Gainers in Sensex

In morning session,  TCS (0.39%), Nestle (0.55%) are the top gainers.

On 15th April, GIFT Nifty traded at 22,470.50 as of 8:04 a.m. IST, which indicates that the Nifty 50 will open below its Friday’s close of 22,519.40.

On 12th April, Sensex and Nifty went down by 1 percent. The NSE Nifty 50 declined by 234.40 points or 1.03% to end at 22,519.40, while the BSE Sensex pulled back 800 points or 1.08% to finish at 74,244.90.
