As reported by FashionNetwork.com in July, the LVMH group’s selective perfumery chain Sephora will stage Sephoria, an event open to the general public, in Paris on October 6-7. It will be the first time Sephoria is held in Europe, having first been staged in the U.S. in 2018. The event’s venue is located at 150 rue de Rivoli in central Paris.
At Sephoria’s European première, Sephora will showcase its range of make-up, skincare, haircare and perfumery brands across the temporary venue’s three floors, as well as its specials for Christmas 2023.
Some 40 brands will be featured at Sephoria, among them pop star Rihanna’s uber-trendy Fenty Beauty, Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, Drunk Elephant, Manucurist and GHD. Sephoria will give visitors the chance to enjoy beauty treatments and masterclasses by founders of cosmetics brands and industry experts. A café will also be open, enlivened by DJ sets.
“Innovation is at the core of Sephora’s DNA. Once again, we are breaking new ground by offering our customers a unique experience, bringing together the best in prestige beauty for a festive occasion in the heart of Paris,” said Sylvie Moreau, president of Sephora Europe and Middle East.
On October 6, admission to Sephoria will be reserved to Sephora’s Gold loyalty club members and to the press, for the latter in lieu of the beauty retailer’s traditional pre-Christmas press presentation. On October 7, the event will be open to the general public from 9 am to 9 pm CET.
Admissions are priced at €35 for Gold Club members and €45 for the general public. Sephora stated that each visitor will receive a free gift pack containing a selection of products by some of Sephora’s featured brands, “whose value will be much higher than the admission ticket.”
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on September 7, on Sephoria’s ad hoc website.
