On 5th April, the Nifty Bank index which comprises data of 12 banking stocks, added 432.25 points or 0.90 per cent to finish at 48,493.05. The Nifty Realty index rose the most as it finished 1.43 per cent higher.

  1. Wipro Stock: The company informed that its CEO Thierry Delaporte resigned and will be replaced by the new Srini Pallia, appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company, effective immediately.
  2. Nykaa Stock: The company posted good GMV growth in early thirties on a consolidated basis year-on-year during the recently concluded quarter.
  3. BPCL Stock: During 2023-24 the company recorded the highest-ever market sales of 50.95 MMT.
  4. Godrej Consumer Products Stock: The company expects underlying volume growth of high single digits and sales growth of mid-single digits,due to currency volatility at a consolidated level (organic). 
  5. Paytm Stock: Paytm parent One97 Communication approved a grant of 91,250 stock options. 
  6. Aurobindo Pharma Stock: The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected the company’s new injectable facility of Eugia Steriles Private Limited in Andhra Pradesh and gave three observations.
  7. Titan Stock: The company reported its growth in revenue by 17 per cent YoY, with CaratLane leading the company’s growth at 30 per cent sales growth. 
  8. Tata Steel Stock: The company in its Q4 business update said that production at the company grew a tad 1.7 per cent during the March quarter of FY24.

  12. Chola Investment Stock: The disbursement at the NBFC company logged a high double-digit growth during the March ended quarter. AUM at the company has also logged a good 55 per cent jump. 
  13. PNB Stock: In its Q4 results, the bank announced that advances at the company grew 11.5 per cent on year, while deposits grew 7 per cent on year.
  14. Bank of Baroda Stock: The bank’s retail advances during Q4, posted a healthy on year growth of 20.64 per cent.
