Prashanth Neel‘s directorial ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is much awaited by the audience. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on September 28, clashing with The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War.
However, the makers have announced a new release date, delaying the movie by a month. A source close to the project revealed, “Director Prashanth Neel doesn’t want to compromise on the final product of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.Hence he has decided to work on the post-production to prioritize every detail to be perfect despite the buzz for the film being at a time high. However, to ensure the best product to be delivered to the audience, the film will be released in November around Diwali. Meanwhile, the director is working on the post-production, the makers, Hombale Films will soon announce the new release date of the film.”
Interestingly, Diwali 2023 is already booked by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger 3’. This spy drama is helmed by Maneesh Sharma and stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist.
‘Tiger 3’ will feature a special sequence starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan as Tiger and Pathaan. Revealing details about the same, a source had shared, “When you have SRK & Salman in one film, you got to do justice to their superstardom to create an experience like never before. Pathaan did that brilliantly and now Tiger 3 will try and do the same. The two iconic actors are going to do a hugely scaled adrenaline pumping action sequence in Tiger 3 and Aditya Chopra is going all out to mount this sequence. He is shelling out Rs. 35 crore to build a set that can present this sequence in the most glorious way possible.”
